The Golden Boys used to paint their Mechs and vehicles a bright red with a wide dark blue stripe framed between two thinner, white ones on each side. While this design is still in widespread use (although now often supplemented with aggressive looking adornments like the classic razor-teeth visage and other knick-knacks), more and more reasonable heads have begun to paint their rides in camouflage appropriate for their current mission. Regardless the base coat, all units prominently display large, white digits framed in black as identification markers, as well as the Golden Boys` insignia.Unit numbers are large, white digits, framed in black, often prominently displayed on torsos or limbs. The unit’s insignia is a white basketball shirt with the number “2” in dark blue upon it. The “2” indicates that the Boys were once first, but came out second in life.
